Getting hitched? You should consider purchasing wedding insurance. Wedding insurance will mean one less worry!
Is wedding insurance cover really necessary or or just more expense? Well, as a newly wed here is here is my first piece of advice for those who got engaged . Within reason don't think about the expense , this is a once in a life story (hopefully!) occasion , which ought to be the happiest moment of your life and the events of the day will remain for ever in your memory .
My second piece of advice is definitely get Wedding insurance!
With the cost of a wedding being around £15000 on average but the average Wedding Insurance policy will cost about £30 for basic cover . With prices as low as this this should be a no brainer!
When you have set a date, booked the photograhers and other services, arrange your wedding insurance cover and pay for it by installments .
Get it done early and it is one less worry . Believe me! there will be lots of other things to worry about on the wedding day !

Quite often the cover will run for a set period - from seven days before to 24 hours after for wedding presents , for instance - but this will vary depending on the policy . Also you'll be relying on wedding services from a range of suppliers so make sure your chosen plan will cover any extra costs you incur up to the policy limit if things don't go exactly to plan.
Events Insurance will also cover you against any deposits lost or the cost of arranging alternatives if suppliers go bust (Don't forget that your credit card covers you if you have used it so do not fork out an unnecessary premium if you have an option to opt out.)
The other important area to have covered by your wedding insurance is personal liability for injury to third parties or loss or damage to third party property. This may be covered by your home insurance or the hotel's own cover etc; but {this can be quite important| public liability is essential if you have the wedding in a public place such as a beach or park etc .
Many policies offer additional areas of cover, some policies offer legal expenses , employers liability for staff or even stress counseling but these really need to be tailored to your party's individual needs.
The internet has made it easy to buy Wedding Insurance online, and you can save money both by comparing policy prices and by visiting a specialist events insurance company, who often have better value for money products with a wider range of wedding insurance covers .
